Upslope and downhill
1. When driving down steep slopes, use the walking control lever and throttle control lever to maintain a low driving speed. When driving up or down a slope of more than 15 degrees, the angle between the boom and the boom should be maintained at 90-110 degrees, the distance between the back of the bucket and the ground should be 20-30cm, and the engine speed should be reduced.
2. If braking is required when going downhill, place the walking control lever in the center position, and the brake will automatically activate.
3. When walking uphill, if the track shoes slip, in addition to relying on the driving force of the track shoes to travel uphill, the pulling force of the boom should also be used to help the machine go uphill.
4. If the engine stalls when going uphill, you can move the walking control lever to the center position, lower the bucket to the ground, stop the machine, and then start the engine again.
5. Engine shutdown is prohibited on slopes to prevent the upper structure from rotating under its own weight.
6. If the machine is parked on a slope, do not open the driver's cab as it may cause sudden changes in operating force. The driver's cab door should always be closed.
7. When walking on a slope, do not change the direction of travel, otherwise it may cause the machine to tilt or slide. If it is necessary to change the walking direction on a slope, it should be operated on a relatively gentle and sturdy slope.
8. Avoid crossing slopes as this may cause the machine to slide.
9. When working on a slope, do not rotate as it can easily cause the machine to tilt or slide due to losing balance. Be careful when rotating and operating the boom at low speeds.
