So, how should the hammer arm be used correctly?

1. Before use, the winding machine needs to be inspected and maintained.

Before the construction of the hammering arm, it is necessary to inspect the winding machine. Firstly, check if the high and low pressure hoses of the hammer arm are loose, and also inspect for any oil leaks in other areas. Additionally, it is necessary to regularly check the nitrogen pressure inside.

 

2. Before the hammer arm works, place the steel chisel vertically on the broken object and confirm its stability before opening it.
During the crushing operation, it is also necessary to ensure that the steel drill is perpendicular to the object being struck at all times; If tilted with the striking surface, the steel drill may slip off and damage the steel drill and piston of the hammer arm.

3. It is strictly prohibited to hit the hammer arm without a target object.

When the rock or target object has been shattered, please immediately stop the striking action of the hammer arm. Continuous aimless impact will only cause loosening and damage to the screws of the precursor and main body, and even damage to the construction machinery. The occurrence of aimless strikes, in addition to improper insertion, can also be affected by shaking the hammer arm during use.

4. Do not use the hammer arm to push heavy objects or large rocks.

When working, do not use the protective plate as a tool to push heavy objects, as it will only cause the screws and drill rods of the protective plate to break and damage the hammer arm, and may even be the main cause of the hammer arm breaking.

5. Do not use the drill rod to shake during crushing operations.

If you attempt to use the drill rod to shake, both the main screws and the drill rod may break.

6. Do not break the hammer arm in water.

The hammer arm is not a closed structure and should not be soaked in water. It is easy to damage the piston cylinder and pollute the hydraulic oil circuit of the excavator. So try not to work on rainy days or in water; In special circumstances, except for steel drills, other parts cannot be immersed in water.

7. The strike time should not be too long.

When striking continuously for more than one minute at the same point without breaking the target, please change the selected point of the strike and try again. Attempting to continuously strike at the same point will only result in excessive wear and tear of the drill rod.

8. Do not operate when the hydraulic cylinder of the construction machinery is fully extended or fully retracted

When the hydraulic cylinder of the construction machinery body is fully extended or fully retracted, if a striking operation is carried out, the striking vibration will bounce back to the hydraulic cylinder body, causing serious damage to the construction machinery.
